Welcome to the website of the newly united Church of Scotland parishes of Arbuthnott and Bervie in The Land of Sunset Song.
This delightful area of North East Scotland – described so eloquently in Lewis Grassic Gibbon’s book Sunset Song – comprises rural Arbuthnott, the small but bustling and expanding ancient Royal Burgh of Inverbervie and the delightful fishing village of Gourdon.
The existing Parish has seen many changes over recent years with considerable growth in new housing and changes in local employment.
